This attraction is located near the center of Lanzhou, close to the north bank of the Yellow River, and is connected to Zhongshan Bridge at the entrance. The ancient white tower on the mountain top is one of the most well-known attractions, surrounded by many magnificent palace-style buildings. Tourists can take a cable car to the opposite bank and then walk for about 20 minutes to reach the white tower. From the top of the tower, you can overlook the entire Lanzhou city, and the Yellow River is at the foot of the mountain. If the weather is good, tourists can enjoy tea and chat at the tea shop on the mountaintop, enjoying peace and comfort.

Lanzhou Waterwheel Expo Garden is located on the south bank of the Yellow River on Binhai East Road in Lanzhou, about 2.6km from the east side of Zhongshan Bridge. It retains the ancient Lanzhou waterwheel, which is the oldest irrigation tool along the Yellow River in ancient times, also known as "heavenly cart", "overturned cart", "irrigation cart", and "tiger cart". Lanzhou Waterwheel Expo Garden is divided into three parts: Waterwheel Garden, Waterwheel Square, and Cultural Square. This park was carefully planned and built by the Lanzhou Tourism Bureau to showcase this ancient irrigation tool, and reproduces the magnificent scene of the waterwheels on both sides of the Yellow River rising over 50 years ago.
