The zoo has a large pond at its center and is home to a variety of Southeast Asian animals. It also features a small amusement park and offers boating on the lake. The entrance is decorated with a beautiful ATM machine, which is a recent addition in China. While the zoo may not be as grand as the Lion and Tiger Mountain in Beijing Zoo, it is charming and every area has corresponding animal models and cute signs. There is also a circus-like performance area at the entrance, as well as a cave for nocturnal animals with interesting murals. Additionally, the park has a large restaurant and small stalls selling food, drinks, toys, and souvenirs, with transparent pricing. The staff were seen bathing a newly born donkey, which was very adorable. The low fences in this zoo bring animals closer to visitors and there is a wide variety of species. The elephant-shaped ATM machine is particularly cute, and the Brazilian turtles are raised in the lake, looking very majestic.

The aquarium in Thailand is located at the Thai Science Center of Vajirañana National Marine University, 80 kilometers away from Bangkok, covering an area of more than 70 acres. The museum displays a 10-meter long whale skeleton, which is said to be the result of the stranding and death of a giant whale on a nearby beach in 1975. In addition, there are several cylindrical acrylic tanks with a diameter of about 1 meter in the hall, showcasing a variety of representative tropical marine organisms, which appear to be magnified several times in the tanks.
Furthermore, the museum also houses more than 40 glass tanks simulating different marine natural environments, ranging from the largest with a capacity of 200 tons of water to the smallest with only half a ton. In these glass tanks, visitors can see peculiar rock formations, colorful coral reefs, ancient shipwrecks, and various types of marine life such as cnidarians, mollusks, arthropods, echinoderms, and vertebrates. The museum has a wide variety of fish species, including edible fish, exotic ornamental fish, and poisonous fish. Visitors can immerse themselves in these glass tanks and feel like they are exploring the underwater world.

Bangkok Zoo is located 9 kilometers northeast of Nanshan Road. It consists of a wildlife park and an ocean park, covering an area of 1200 acres. The wildlife park is primarily focused on conservation and houses many rare and endangered species in habitats that mimic their natural environments. Visitors can choose to tour the park in a tour vehicle or a camouflage-colored off-road vehicle provided by the zoo, and witness the lives of these animals up close. In the herbivore area, antelopes, zebras, camels, ostriches, and giraffes roam freely in the greenery and grasslands, while water birds, swans, and mandarin ducks swim in the water. In the lion, leopard, tiger, and bear enclosures, visitors can observe these magnificent predators lounging in the shade or strolling around. In the ocean park, visitors can enjoy over 200 species of rare birds and marine animals, as well as various intelligent animal performances, including dolphins, sea lions, elephants, birds of prey, and whale feeding shows, as well as a variety of cultural performances from Thailand, Papua New Guinea, and the western United States.
