Introduction

Christ the Redeemer is one of the symbols of Rio de Janeiro and Brazil. It is located at the top of a 710-meter-high mountain and is a 38-meter-high, 1145-ton statue of Jesus Christ. The white statue of Christ with open arms, like a huge cross, has become one of the city's landmarks. At night, the light illuminates the statue, and it can be seen from almost anywhere, guarding Rio de Janeiro like a giant white cross. In addition, Christ the Redeemer is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, attracting many tourists to visit. At dusk, Christ the Redeemer and the bay complement each other, shining with golden light patches under the sunset, presenting a wonderful sight. Christ the Redeemer in the mist is even more serene, leaving an unforgettable impression.
