Introduction

The Auckland Harbour Bridge is an eight-lane box truss motorway bridge spanning the Waitematā Harbour and is an important part of New Zealand State Highway 1 and the Auckland Northern Motorway. It is managed and operated by the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) and is the second longest road bridge in New Zealand after the Waikato River Bridge.
