This maritime museum was once voted one of the best in the world, with 14 exhibition halls featuring different historical periods. These exhibitions not only introduce the epic exploration history of Polynesian navigators, but also delve into topics such as the settlement history of Europeans, docking ships, coastal trade, and the glorious achievements of sports heroes, demonstrating unique cultures and lifestyles from different historical periods. Here, you can join a free guided tour at 11am from Monday to Friday to better understand the background and details of these historical events. In addition, you can also take a tour of the harbor on a traditional flat-bottomed boat, the Teda Ashby, and appreciate the beauty of the sea.
