Introduction

The Auckland Art Gallery is one of the oldest and largest art galleries in New Zealand. After a renovation in 2011, the gallery features a blend of classical and modern architectural styles, showcasing over 15,000 art pieces from around the world. Additionally, the gallery regularly hosts various types of art events, providing more options for visitors. If you have free time in the Auckland city center, you can come here to have a pleasant time. The gallery also offers 30 minutes or 30MB of free Wi-Fi service. Note that bringing food or drinks into the gallery is not allowed.

Transportation

The art museum is located near the main street, Queen Street, in the center of Auckland. Turn at the intersection of Queen Street and Wellesley Street onto Wellesley Street East and continue for about 200 meters to see the museum on your left.
