Introduction

Albert Park is situated on the south bank of the Yarra River in Melbourne, and is famously known as the first stop on the Formula One racing circuit. Since 1996, Albert Park has been the host of the Australian Grand Prix, and also serves as the season opener for the annual F1 Grand Prix. The track layout is incredibly smooth with no sharp 90 degree turns, allowing cars to drive at high speeds. The track follows the clock-wise movement of the park's lake, offering beautiful scenery and is loved by drivers. The closed track cannot be accessed by the public during races, but there are still plenty of activities available, such as hiking trails, playgrounds, restaurants, bookshops, and restrooms. During the race season, the city is filled with the roaring sound of F1 engines, adding an electrifying atmosphere to the area. Albert Park is actually a beautiful park where people can enjoy walks and runs, spanning 225 hectares and located just over three kilometers away from the city center, making it easily accessible.
