Riding a steam train is really fun
4.5

Introduction

Puffing Billy Steam Train is one of the narrow gauge railways built by the government in the 1990s to develop remote areas. Thanks to the efforts of volunteers, this line is now one of the best-preserved steam trains. By riding on the train, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery with children, pass through towering wooden trestle bridges, and cross the picturesque Dandenong Ranges. After an hour's drive, you will arrive at Emerald Lake, where you can stroll along the surrounding hiking trails or enjoy outdoor barbecue and feed the friendly red-bellied parrots.
