Introduction

The observatory is the only place in Sydney where astronomical phenomena can be observed, equipped with high-powered telescopes that enable people to appreciate numerous wonderful scenes. The observatory building is the first windmill built in Australia, completed in 1858. In addition, there is an English-style Argyle Place here. The observatory is not only a famous attraction in Sydney, but also one of the important historical heritage buildings in New South Wales.
