If you want to witness the charm of waves eroding natural landscapes, you can visit The Gap located in Watsons Bay. The land rocks here have been eroded by the sea for thousands of years, forming a spectacular sea cliff that extends for about three to four kilometers with a drop of about 200 meters. It is worth mentioning that due to its unique terrain, The Gap was once one of Australia's famous "suicide cliffs", and it has experienced many changes over the years, containing many stories, but the beautiful scenery is still captivating and there is no need to be overly afraid.

Transportation

Take the Watsons Bay line ferry at berth 4 of the Circular Quay wharf. The ferry departs every 50 minutes and the journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Along the way, enjoy the picturesque views of Rose Bay and Double Bay, among other bays on the south side. Upon arrival at Watsons Bay, follow the grassy slope along the bay for about 10 minutes to reach the entrance of The Gap scenic area.
