Introduction

Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, located in the center of Darling Harbor in Sydney, is an exciting and interactive new attraction. With over 80 celebrity wax figures and 9 interactive themed zones, it appeals to visitors of all ages. The museum features Australian stars such as Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, as well as international superstars such as Johnny Depp and Lady Gaga, all leaving their impressive images behind. Madame Tussauds Wax Museum dates back to 1770 when art teacher Dr. Philippe Curtius began modeling and creating, becoming a wax technician for the museum. In the early 19th century, the museum toured England, showcasing images of public heroes and villains, and in 1835 opened its first permanent base in London. Since then, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum has established multiple branches worldwide, such as in Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Washington DC, Berlin, Vienna, and London's Blackpool. The museum allows visitors to travel back in time and relive historical events and classic moments. The Beijing branch is set to open in the summer of 2014.
