Introduction

The Queen Victoria Building is located on the bustling George Street in the center of Sydney, adjacent to Sydney City Hall and St. Andrew's Church. The building was constructed in 1898 in a Romanesque dome structure and was originally used as a market and office. The glass dome stands in the center of the building, which occupies the entire block, and there are over 180 shops, cafes, and restaurants inside. The front of the building features four floors of elegant Victorian shops. The building retains its 1898 appearance, and the interior is magnificent, with shops, boutiques, restaurants, cafes, and historical artifacts collections each having their own unique features.
