Introduction

Snoqualmie Falls is located about 40 minutes' drive from Seattle and is a park that covers about 8 hectares. Its most striking feature is the height of the waterfall, which reaches over 80 meters. The area was originally a tribal land of Native Americans, whom called it Snoqualmie, meaning "moon", because they believed that the waterfall originated from the mythical Spring of Life in the Snoqualmie River.
