The exhibits span medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque art from Europe and the Americas, with a room dedicated specifically to contemporary northwestern art. The museum offers free guided tours for different exhibits. In front of the museum, a worker with a hammer is working tirelessly day and night on a three-story steel sculpture designed and produced by Jonathon Borofsky, symbolizing the constant labor of the working class.
