Introduction
Copley Square is a highly acclaimed public square located in Boston's Back Bay area. The square is home to three famous buildings: Trinity Church, the John Hancock Tower, and the Boston Public Library, all of which have international reputations. The John Hancock Tower sits on the south side of the square and is an outstanding building designed by famous Chinese-American architect I. M. Pei and Henry N. Cobb, inspired by the Palace of Versailles in France. The building is covered with blue glass panels and is one of the tallest buildings in Boston. Transportation Take the Green Line subway to Copley station; or take the Orange Line to Back Bay station, and walk to the destination.
