Introduction
Canada's largest war history museum is located on the west side of the Parliament Building, just a 10-minute walk away. The building is shaped like a silver-gray airplane and is built next to the Ottawa River, making it particularly eye-catching from the greenery. The museum houses a large collection of war-related items and materials, especially Canadian war records. The exhibition is divided into four permanent exhibition areas, focusing on Canadian war history, World War I, World War II, and the Cold War, as well as a Royal Canadian Legion Honor Exhibition Hall. Exhibits include various weapons and other supplies from the age of cold weapons to high-tech warfare, including weapons for ancient indigenous defense, weapons and military uniforms from World War I and II, military supplies from the army, navy, and air force, as well as various combat aircraft, tanks, bullets, and medical supplies for battlefield emergency treatment. The Canadian War Museum cooperates with the Historical Museum to offer discounts on joint admission tickets. Not only does it house a rich collection of physical objects, it also uses multimedia technology to showcase materials, providing a rich and fascinating experience.
