Introduction

This gallery is one of the most outstanding art exhibitions in Britain during the 19th and 20th centuries. It displays many masterpieces, including works by Turner, Constable, Stanley Spencer, Wyndham Lewis, and the sculptor of the Angel of the North. Henry Moore is also popular, and his sculptures are considered the treasure of the gallery. In addition to these classic artworks, it also includes some modern artists like Anthony Gormley.
