Introduction

The Valley Square is one of the most magnificent squares in Italy and Europe, covering an area of 90,000 square meters. Its name literally means "lawn in the valley". In the center of the square is a green island surrounded by a canal, with 78 sculptures distributed on both sides. The most famous is the statue of Venetian nobleman Andrea Memmo, who oversaw the reconstruction of the square.
