Introduction
The Verona Arena is located in the Bra Square in the center of Verona, Italy. It is an ancient Roman amphitheater and the third largest in Italy, after the Colosseum in Rome and the Capua Amphitheater. Even to this day, it continues to play an important role in theater and hosts a variety of exciting performances every year. Here, audiences can witness world-renowned operas and feel the unique charm and historical atmosphere.
The arena has two levels, each with 72 arches. The audience seats are also made of stone in a stepped arrangement, providing a perfect view for every seat. Therefore, like other ancient Roman theaters, the Verona Arena has a strong connection with visual effects and has become a memorable part of history.
The Verona Arena is also famous for its annual opera festival, held from June to August. The well-known operas Aida, Carmen, Turandot, and other famous operas are performed on this ancient stage, allowing more people to appreciate classical music performances up close. Opening hours Monday from 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm, Tuesday to Sunday from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm. The latest entry is at 6:30 pm. During summer, the latest performance starts at 3:30 pm.
