Introduction

The Constitution Bridge is built at a bend of the northwest section of the Grand Canal, very close to the train station. The bridge was designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and is therefore also known as the Castorava Bridge. The Constitution Bridge uses an arch structure and connects the train station on the north bank of the Grand Canal with the Roman Square (bus station) on the south bank.
