Introduction

The St. Mark's Clock Tower is located on the north side of St. Mark's Square in Venice. It is an early Renaissance building consisting of a central tower with a clock and lower buildings on either side, adjacent to the eastern end of the Procuratie Vecchie. Its history can be traced back to the late 15th century, and its large clock can be seen from the lagoon, showcasing Venice's wealth and glory, making it a local landmark.
