Introduction

"The Trilogy of Neoclassicism" refers to three neoclassical-style buildings in Athens, namely the National Library of Greece, the University of Athens, and the Academy of Athens. The University of Athens is the central building, featuring beautiful depictions of Greek deities on its exterior walls. The National Library houses a vast collection of ancient Greek literature. On the other side of the complex is the Academy of Athens, modeled after the Acropolis and adorned with sculptures of the armored Athena and the musical Apollo, as well as seated statues of Plato and Socrates.
