Introduction

The Parthenon Temple, located in the northern part of the Acropolis of Athens, is a temple dedicated to many ancient Greek gods. The most striking feature of this temple is the six female statue pillars outside the walls, called the Caryatids, each with different clothing, hairstyles, and facial features. It is said that these female statue pillars may have been sculpted based on real people, but the statues outside the temple now are all replicas, with the real ones displayed in the Acropolis Museum.
