Introduction

Valencia Cathedral is located in the old town, built in the 13th century, it is a mixture of Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Neoclassical architectural styles. During the Muslim rule, it was converted into a mosque and only restored as a Roman Catholic church in 1238. Today, Valencia Cathedral has become an iconic historic building in the city. The tower was built in the 13th-14th centuries, stands 50.85 meters tall, and is located next to the Baroque Puerta de Hierros gate. Climbing to the top of the tower offers a panoramic view of the entire Valencia old town. It is said that the Holy Grail is housed here.
