Introduction
Located across a slope northwest of Barcelona's Montserrat mountain is the Tibidabo, which is accessible via the Tranvía de Blau, a small tram that has been in operation since 1901 and terminates at the top of the Tibidabo. The Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor, housing a 7-meter tall, 4,800-kilogram bronze statue of Jesus, is an iconic feature of the mountain. It is said to be one of the churches closest to the sky.
