Introduction
The town is located on the east side of the D302 highway, near Goreme. Unlike the larger and more touristy town of Uchisar, this town is smaller and has some impressive old and new buildings. On top of Temenni Hill, north of the bus station, there is an excellent viewing platform where you can get a panoramic view of the whole town. The charming tea house on top of the hill is housed in a converted mosque and serves traditional Turkish coffee made using the hot sand method. The owner is dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional culture. At only five Turkish lira for five kilometers, it is definitely worth a try. Address Urgup, 50400 Nevsehir, Turkey
