Introduction
Since the 16th century, St. George's Church has been guarding Piran. The parish museum inside the church displays many gold and silver utensils, oil paintings, and precious gems used in the church. The bell tower was built in 1608, and tourists can climb up to get a bird's eye view of Piran's beauty. In addition, there is a baptistry inside the church that completely imitates the campanile of the Venice St. Mark's Basilica, which is impressive. Opening hours Parish Museum: Monday, Wednesday to Friday 10:00-13:00 & 15:00-17:00, Saturday and Sunday 10:00-18:00
