Introduction
The Fondation Beyeler Museum, located on the outskirts of Basel, was founded in 1982 with donations of art treasures from the Hildy and Ernst Beyeler couple of over fifty years, and is supervised by the foundation. In 1989, these art treasures were first exhibited to the public at the Reina Sofia Art Center in Madrid. In 1997, the museum designed by Renzo Piano was completed and became the permanent exhibition venue for the Fondation Beyeler's collection. Address Baselstrasse 101, 4125 Basel, Switzerland
