Introduction

Fraumünster Church is a Reformed church founded by Ludwig der Deutsche, the grandson of Charlemagne, in 853. Today, the church stands in Zurich and was rebuilt in its original location in the 12th century. In 1970, the stained glass windows by Marc Chagall on the choir became a major highlight of the church. When visiting the church, please maintain silence, especially in areas where religious ceremonies are taking place. Please follow the instructions of church staff for seating and departure arrangements.
