Fram Museum, Embark on a Historic Polar Voyage

Introduction
The Fram Museum, located on the Bygdøy Peninsula in Oslo, also known as the Museum Peninsula, officially opened to the public on May 20, 1936. The museum focuses on three great expeditions between 1893 and 1912. The most popular exhibit is the world's strongest wooden ship, the polar ship Fram, which is also Norway's first ship built specifically for polar research. Visitors can board the ship and explore various areas including the cabin and engine room. In addition, the museum also hosts temporary exhibitions that focus on polar issues caused by global climate change, items brought back from each expedition, and the world's largest library on polar themes, which contains more than 220 books. The exhibition also provides detailed explanations in nine languages. Opening hours October to April of the following year from 10:00-16:00, May and September from 10:00-17:00, June to August from 10:00-18:00.
