Introduction
Mlynska Kolonada, located in the colonnades of the Mill Colonnade in the spa area, is one of the renowned spa buildings. The building was created in 1881 and designed by famous Prague National Theater architect Josef Zitek. It was expanded in 1893 and is now in the Renaissance style. The 132-meter-long and 13-meter-wide colonnade with two walkways has 124 Corinthian columns. 12 sculptures represent the 12 months of the year. The bandstand is located there, and the spa band plays free concerts of music, which sounds like the spa's soothing water. Karlovy Vary has 13 major springs, five of which are located in the spa colonnades, allowing you to explore this beautiful and charming place even better.
