Introduction

The Theological Library of Strahov Monastery is located in the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague. It was built in the 12th century and belongs to Strahov Monastery, being one of the largest monastery libraries in the country. The interior murals are masterpieces of a famous painter in the 18th century and the decoration is exquisite and beautiful. As a highly acclaimed cultural landscape, it ranks high in multiple rankings of "most beautiful libraries". The entire building includes two Baroque libraries: the Monastery Library and the Theological Library.
