Introduction
The New Town Hall of Prague, located in the Czech capital of Prague, is the administrative center of the city and is situated in the medieval area of Prague's New Town. On July 30th, 1419, the First Defenestration of Prague took place here when Hussite rebels stormed the New Town Hall, threw the mayor and council members out of the window, and sparked the Hussite Wars.
