Introduction

St. John's Cathedral is the tallest Roman Catholic church in the Netherlands and one of the landmarks of Den Bosch. The church was built in 1220 and is a Brabant Gothic architectural style that took 300 years to complete. The main body of the church is 115 meters long and 62 meters wide, and the main tower reaches a height of 73 meters. St. John's Cathedral has a high position in the Dutch Catholic Church and was awarded the honorific title of "Basilica Minor" in 1985, making it even more respected.
