Introduction
At the beginning of the 20th century, the Soviet Union established the Georgia Museum, which collected historical artifacts from prehistory to the 20th century. However, the museum has been closed for renovation since 2005 to rearrange the exhibition. The museum reopened in 2011, although the exhibition is still ongoing. The "Archaeological Treasure" section in the underground of the Georgia Museum displays valuable gold and jewelry, showing historical artifacts from ancient times to the medieval period. The temporary exhibition on the first floor is about the history of the museum, and the second floor is supposed to showcase the history of medieval Georgia, but it has been closed since 2012. The third floor is used for various temporary exhibitions, while the fourth floor displays exhibits from the "Soviet Occupation Museum," which is actually another national museum established in 2003. Despite claiming to move out, there has been no movement as of yet. Address 3/10 Shota Rustaveli Ave, Tbilisi 0105, Georgia
