Introduction

The Holy Trinity Cathedral is located on the top of Mount Ilya on the left bank of the city of Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. It is one of the largest churches built in the country since the collapse of the Soviet Union and in the history. The building complex of the cathedral includes courtyard walls, bell towers, and several small chapels. The main building is nearly 100 meters high, making it the tallest church in Georgia, and can be seen standing from any direction in Tbilisi. It is currently known as the mother church of Eastern Orthodoxy in Georgia. The construction of the cathedral took place between 1995 and 2004, lasting nearly a decade, and faced many ups and downs. Today, it has become a guiding light for Georgian culture and religious beliefs.

It seems that the original 9-seater minibus was the terminal station. However, actually, from the Avlabari subway station, go west from the exit and turn right in front of the Armenian Echmiadzin Cathedral. Whether you turn left or right at the next fork, it takes about 15 minutes to get to the Holy Trinity Cathedral after leaving the station. However, turning left at the fork to the west gate (main gate) and turning right to the south gate (side gate, but closer to the cathedral).
