Introduction

In 2013, Marseille became the European Capital of Culture, with a museum dedicated to European and Mediterranean civilizations as an important part of its plan. The museum, designed by French architect Rudy Ricciotti, has a unique appearance resembling a floating diamond platform by the seaside. It is spacious inside, not only displaying artifacts but also including facilities such as auditoriums, large conference rooms, shops, cafes, and restaurants. Undoubtedly, this museum is a significant symbol of Marseille's culture.
