Introduction

The Petit Palais Museum is located on the north side of Place du Palais, facing the Pope's Palace across the street, inside a 14th-century building. The museum opened in 1976 and has a rich collection, including many paintings from the Avignon School and the Italian Renaissance period, showcasing the artistic journey from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. The most famous are the 300 paintings from the Italian Renaissance period, featuring masterpieces by Botticelli, Carpaccio, Giovanni Di Paolo, and others. In addition, there are fine works of Avignon School paintings and Avignon sculptures. The museum also regularly exhibits modern artworks.

10:00-13:00, 14:00-18:00
closed on January 1st, May 1st, December 25th, and every Tuesday.
