Introduction
Mamayev Kurgan is one of the most famous landmarks in Volgograd and one of the fiercest battlefields of the Battle of Stalingrad. On this hill, the majestic "Motherland Calls" statue stands at a height of 50 meters, holding a sword and gazing into the distance. Below the statue is the Memorial Hall of the Fallen, which commemorates those who sacrificed their lives in the battle.
