Freiburger Münster, A timeless beauty with lively market charm

Münsterplatz, 79098 Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany

Introduction

This church is called the "most beautiful Christian church" and is one of the most famous attractions in Freiburg. It was originally built to commemorate the tomb of Duke Zähringen. The ascent tower is the best spot to admire the interior decorations of the church, as well as the beautiful views of the Vosges Mountains. However, the tower has been under repair and we are unsure if it will be fixed this year. The magnificent stained glass windows inside the church are a must-see and are one of the classics not to be missed.
