Introduction

Bremen City Hall has a long history, built 600 years ago. It later added a Weser Renaissance facade and, together with the Roland statue erected in 1404, became a masterpiece in the UNESCO World Heritage List, hailed as Bremen's most precious cultural asset. It is also recognized by UNESCO as a "certificate of civic autonomy and independence". The length of the city hall's grand hall is 40 meters, making it one of Germany's most beautiful banquet halls.
