Introduction

Tourists visiting this magnificent building often find the name "New City Hall" strange. However, the large and magnificent exterior of the building presents a sense of ancient history, reminiscent of the imperial era, making Hanover seem like an immortal kingdom. In fact, it took 12 years to complete this building, which was not finished until July 20, 1913. Visitors can also take the elevator to the inclined dome roof to overlook the entire city. In the rest hall, which was built between 1901 and 1913, visitors can see a city model exhibition that was severely damaged during World War II.
