St. Sebaldus Church, built in the 13th century, is one of the oldest cathedrals in Nuremberg. The church was originally in Romanesque style and underwent Gothic and Baroque renovations. Many religious figures are carved on the exterior walls. The church is named after the patron saint of Nuremberg, St. Sebaldus, an 8th-century hermit and missionary.
