Introduction

The landmark building in Dusseldorf is located on the banks of the Rhine River. The lower part of this tower is cylindrical, while the upper part is octagonal, making it unique. There used to be a ducal castle here, built in 1380, but in the 19th century, a fire destroyed most of the buildings, with only the corner of the castle tower surviving. Today, this ancient tower has been renovated into a boat museum, showcasing the city's precious history and cultural heritage.
