Introduction
The Benrath Palace, a Rococo-style building, was constructed by Duke Carl Theodor between 1755 and 1769. It is located on the banks of the Rhine River, approximately 20 kilometers from the city center of Düsseldorf. This palace covers an area of over 60 hectares and is one of the most beautiful remaining buildings in Europe. In front of the palace, there is a small lake where the pink exterior walls of the palace are reflected in the water, creating a picturesque scene with swans swimming in the lake. Unlike the design of Chinese palace gardens, Benrath Palace has a smaller proportion of palace buildings and a larger area of landscaped gardens. The French-style gardens feature neatly trimmed forests, scattered white statues, canals extending towards the palace, and vast lawns. Address Benrather Schloßallee 104, 40597 Düsseldorf
