Introduction

Bellevue Palace is a magnificent neoclassical palace, its name comes from French meaning "beautiful view". The palace was built in 1743 and later became the summer residence of Prince Augustus Ferdinand of Prussia in 1786. Since 1994, it has proudly served as the official residence of the German Federal President, Bundespräsidialamt.
