Topographie des Terrors, A somber journey into a dark past

Niederkirchnerstraße 8, 10963 Berlin KREUZBERG

Introduction

The building itself is much more interesting than the exhibits. The Gestapo, SS, and Reich Security Main Office used this place as their headquarters from 1933 to 1945. Starting from 1939, it also served as the headquarters for the Reich Security Department. In 2007, a permanent museum was completed, part of which is dedicated to showcasing and introducing the heinous acts of the Gestapo during Nazi Germany, while another part focuses on the famous Nuremberg Trials. This museum truthfully records history and allows people to understand past mistakes, ensuring that such tragedies never happen again.
