Introduction

The striking building standing in the commercial center of West Berlin is called the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, one of the remnants of World War II. The tower spire was destroyed during bombing in WWII and is thus known as the "Broken Tooth Church." Today, the functions of the old church have been replaced by a new church and tower. The new church is known for its modern design, with a facade made of octagonal colored glass panels, and the interior is in a distinct blue color, offering excellent sound insulation. The old church serves as a display of the history of the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, serving as a reminder that the tragic history of WWII should not be forgotten and lessons should be learned.

New Church: Daily 9:00-19:00
Old Church: Monday-Friday 10:00-18:00, Saturday 10:00-17:30, Sunday 12:00-17:30, closed on Easter. Guided tours: 13:15, 14:00, 15:00, with additional tours at 10:15, 11:00, 12:00 on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays, starting inside the Old Church.
