Introduction

Alte Pinakothek is one of the most famous art museums in Munich, Germany, built between 1826 and 1836. It is also one of the six most famous art museums in the world. The museum mainly exhibits works by famous oil painters from the Middle Ages to the mid-18th century, including Stefan Lochner, Albrecht Dürer, Rogier van der Weyden, Hans Memling, Rembrandt, Pieter Lastman, Jan Brueghel the Elder, and Rubens.
