Introduction
The Gothic church in Krakow is 80 meters tall and was built in the 14th century, showcasing its unique exterior in the Old Town Market Square. The interior of the church combines Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles perfectly, with the most valuable being the wooden altar created by the sculptor Veit Stoss in the 15th century. Every hour, a bugle call can be heard from the top of the bell tower, interrupting the mournful melody to commemorate the famous trumpeter of the 13th century. He sounded the alarm during the Mongol invasion of Krakow but was shot in the neck with an arrow. The bugle call is broadcast live by Radio Poland 1 at noon as well.
